Allyson fights acne, not trolls. She plays music and tries to keep her head down as she moves from school to school, dragged around the country by her mother who won’t tell them what they are running from or who’s after them. But when an encounter with trolls, real life, not-in-her-head trolls, Allyson discovers that she’s half-dragon. When a boy from her school goes missing and turns out to be a unicorn, the tables turn and the magical community begins to blame her friend Beth who just happens to be half-troll. Now on the run, the girls hunt down the real monsters to save themselves and those they care about.

Weekly Reading List #61

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. For me my fiancé is coming to visit next weekend for Halloween so I’m trying really hard to get as much done as humanly possible so that I don’t have to worry about school work and can somewhat relax with him. And there is something not working in the first chapter of my novel so I’m going to finish fine tuning it for my creative writing class so that I can turn it in and figure out what isn’t working. Maybe it’s the fact that I wrote it 5 years ago and my writing style has changed, maybe it’s something in the presentation. I don’t know, that’s what class is for. So this weekend was really dedicated to that and lots of reading and writing. But anyway, check out my weekly reading list for the next week. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #61”
