Pitch Perfect

Pitch PerfectOh my god, what a great movie.  I attend Emerson College which was lucky enough to get advanced screening tickets ( don’t mean to brag) so I thought, my the heck not.  See, I was not going to spent money on this show originally, but after watching it, I thought of what I would have missed out on.  It’s a musical, but in no way is it like Glee.  Like, god no, and I like Glee, don’t get me wrong, but this movie was ten times better than Glee.  The set list of this movie was hilarious and I absolutely loved it.  It had the qualities that 80’s movies had.  In fact, there was an inclusion of The Breakfast Club which is one of my favorite movies ever.  It had the charm that talked of self acceptance and team work.  There was character in the movie surround the characters and it wasn’t cheesy and overly dramatic.  It was good.  It was literally a non stop laughter and full of applaudible moments throughout.  Yes, it’s about chicks singing but it’s so not a chick flick.  It’s a movie about dreams which sounds a bit cheesy but wasn’t trust me.  It highlights the pressures in life and the stress of trying to be perfect.  It’s a good realistic movie and I loved it.  I mean I absolutely loved it.  Not to mention the track list for this movie, the remixing, the vocal remixing was amazing.  I loved the mash-ups here, I mean I absolutely loved it.  This is a great movie and you don’t even have to be a fan of Glee to enjoy it.  It’s no Glee.  It’s ten times better.  4/4 ★‘s and an “A+”.
