After rumors coming out earlier about an Uncharted spin off, Sony has now announced Uncharted: Fight For Fortune on the PlayStation Vita coming in December. Fight For Fortune will take the characters and adventures you know and love from past game, then put them all in cards. That is right, this title will be a card battle game.
The game will launch December 4 for $4.99 and has already announced DLC adding even more cards. The DLC will include pieces from Uncharted 2 and 3 with no price announced at the moment. This also ties into a patch for Uncharted: Golden Abyss that powers up artifacts so you can use them in Fight For Fortune. These announcements tie in nicely since Golden Abyss will be free this Tuesday for PlayStation Plus members on Vita.
Even with the announcement of a new Uncharted game, fans are outraged. After the trailer showed up on Youtube fans have been flooding the comments with undeserved hate and the dislike meter is filling up fast compared to people liking it. Acting as if this is the end of the series is more than uncalled for and rivals the upset when DMC was announced years ago.
Take it or leave it Uncharted: Fight For Fortune is trying to do something to tied fans overs until the next game in the Uncharted series.
