Happy Labor Day avid readers!
So many of you may not know this but yesterday was in fact my birthday. Woo! I have just turned 23 years old. I had to work but considering I almost lost my job, I consider working my birthday gift from the universe. My mom bought me Game of Thrones Season 1 (woo!) and bunches of other stuff like these really nice sandals (my other pair broke) and this really cute nightshirt. Oh, and a delicious Apple Pie! I absolutely love apple pie.
The night before we went out and hand drinks. Hilarious story! So we’re at a bar and my mom went to go put some money in the meter and this guy comes up to hit on me and I’m trying my best to say as little as possible because:

I have a boyfriend

He wasn’t that appealing
So I just nod, I keep my hand covering my drink and pray for my mom to hurry up. She gets back and the guy says who is that, your sister or your girlfriend. I quickly said my girlfriend, which made him promptly go away. My mom laughed.
That was my birthday and today, I am going to take a break from it all, write some articles because I’m a workaholic, then head out and spend the evening with my boyfriend, catch the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters in theaters’ then dinner.
I try to avoid the daylight; I’m convinced it’s sucking away my will to live. But I digress, I hope many of you having a wonderful day with your families.
