Hey there readers! Okay, I’ve got a special treat for all of you, a double feature reveal. Penguin has revealed the cover for the much-anticipated sequel to A River of Royal Blood, A Queen of Gilded Horns. But not only that, the first novel A River of Royal Blood is getting a new cover as well!

Now, this novel has been on my TBR pile for a while and I have to personally tell you all, I am in love with these covers. Right now, I’m glad I never bought the first novel because I hate owning a series with different covers. I mean I hate it so much that I still haven’t read the last two Artemis Fowl books. Yeah, I’m that serious about my books matching.

Happy Juneteenth! I’m beyond excited to reveal the cover and title for the sequel to A River of Royal Blood! I feel like I’ve been sitting on this title for six months so I can’t wait to hear everyone’s reactions: A QUEEN OF GILDED HORNS! And even bigger surprise: the paperback of River is getting a new cover to match the sequel and it’s PERFECT. Exactly as I imagined Eva from day one. I swear this cover just walked out of my dreams! Many many thanks to my cover artist @xxdovelin who KILLED it once again and cover designer @suchdainties! Y’all Samira has such taste. I’m truly blessed to work with them. And thank you to my editor, Stacey Barney, and my agents @hroot and @tayhaggerty for helping me come up with this vision for Eva alone on the cover. And finally thank you to everyone who read A RIVER OF ROYAL BLOOD and shared it over the last few weeks. Many mixed emotions come with the circumstances of promoting and amplifying Black voices over the last three weeks.
