Hey there everyone. I am pleased to announce the latest addition to my candle collection! It’s Fall, and in Greek mythology, this begins Demeter’s grief at losing her daughter for six months to the Underworld. So I thought, wow, the perfect time to unveil this! Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and agriculture. So in her honor, I chose honey almond and winter mint. Bees harvest honey right, and the almond tree in greek mythology is associated with the rebirth of nature and undying hope, giving rise to myths linked to its early bloom. I combined that with Winter Mint to connect it to my Hades candle and the coming of winter. They balance each other out wonderfully. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I loved making it.
