The Chowder House Murder Review | Small-Town Secrets & Cozy Mystery Charm

Give me a small coastal town, a family-run restaurant, generations of family drama, and a murder involving poisoned clam chowder, and apparently I am there. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Today Iโ€™m reviewing The Chowder House Murder by Lee Hollis, the first book in the new Downeast Maine Mystery series. Set in Halibut Cove, Maine, this cozy mystery centers on three generations of the Holbrook family and the seafood dynasty they’ve built in their community.

This was also my first Lee Hollis book, despite the fact that Hollis has written plenty of cozy mysteries before.

And thankfully?

I was not disappointed.
