Today I’m reviewing The Twelve by Joey Graceffa—a YA fantasy that immediately caught my attention with three magical words:

Zodiac. Witchcraft. Sisterhood. ♈✨🔮

I love anything witchy. That tracks. And when a fantasy gives me a magic system inspired by astrology and the zodiac? Of course I’m going to be interested.

But lately I’ve had a bad habit of going into books thinking, Oh, I’m absolutely going to love this, only to end up disappointed. So I tried really hard to keep my expectations under control with The Twelve.

Thankfully?

I was not disappointed.

This was fast-paced, entertaining, magical, and exactly the kind of YA fantasy that reminded me why I have so much fun with this genre.
