Today I’m reviewing The Twelve by Joey Graceffa, a YA fantasy filled with zodiac magic, sisterhood, destiny, and plenty of witchy energy.

And really, the moment you tell me a fantasy revolves around the zodiac and witches, you’ve already gotten my attention. 😂

When twin sisters Ophelia and Serena discover they’re powerful witches, they’re swept into a hidden magical world and recruited into a coven of twelve zodiac witches tasked with hunting dangerous dark witches. As Ophelia learns to control water magic and Serena develops her lightning abilities, the sisters face intense training, growing threats, and the unsettling possibility that their paths might not always remain aligned.

I went into this one trying very hard not to get my hopes up.

Thankfully?

The Twelve did not disappoint.
