Weekly Reading List #25

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. The Fall Semester is almost over and Thanksgiving is upon us. I’m spending Thanksgiving with my friends when I’d rather spend it with my mom and kitties and my amazing fiancé. Heck, I’d even love to spend it with my coworkers at Regal Oakwood 18. I can’t wait to get back home and curl up with my kitties and just relax. Take a break and read, write and relax.

But anyway, I hope everyone has an amazing week, and if you’re going to be snuggled up against the couch with a good book, here are some options to keep you entertained. (All synopsis provided by Goodreads.) Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #25”

Weekly Reading List #24

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers. It’s been a tiring week. I mean just exhausting. Not even physically exhausting because I had a day off and I’ve been procrastinating finishing this paper so that I can pull another one out of my tushie by Friday of next week. I’m just so tired, I haven’t slept straight through the night in a week and I’ve been getting these awful headaches that are so inhibiting. Ugh, these two papers are not my finest work but I’m just gonna have to make it work.

So that’s what’s been going on in my life. I hope everyone is getting a long better than moi. I really miss my cat, Mr. J, and my fiancé. God, I miss sleeping in and reading, and writing. I can’t wait to be done with school. Just four weeks left in the semester and I’m golden. I can breath, relax and just take a breather. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #24”

Weekly Reading List #23

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone had an amazing Halloween. I sure did. I was Beetlejuice and it was awesome. Unfortunately my shoes, however cute, were not made for walking. It was still a lot of fun and I loved it, even found out I got an A on the paper that I was so sure that I was going to fail. Whew.

Sorry, you’re not here for that. Or maybe some of you are. I like you readers to get to know me as a person. I hope none of this inconsequential to you guys.

Anyway, here is my reading list for the next week, maybe two depending on how school goes. I do have schoolwork to do. And as always, all synopsis’s are courtesy of Goodreads. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #23”

Time changes all | Cyn’s Book Review of Passion (Fallen, #3)

The third novel in the Fallen series, Passion finally brings back the spark that was lacking in Torment (Fallen, #2).

Picking up where the last book left off, Lucida is traveling through Announcers, shadows that watch and capture life-like a camera. However, for Lucinda, they serve as portals through time. Her goal: to discover the ins and outs of the curse that keeps her from Daniel and life. Continue reading Time changes all | Cyn’s Book Review of Passion (Fallen, #3)

The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: Book 5)

Heart racing, blood pumping book here.  It’s hard to imagine that this extensive book takes place all in one day.  Warlock takes place right after Necromancer left off, minutes later.  It’s a great book I have to say and I did love it.  There is so much characterization within the pages of this book and I can feel the emotion of the characters because they … Continue reading The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: Book 5)

Rachel McAdams Could Join The Time-Travel Comedy About Time

By: Eric Eisenberg I’m starting to think that Rachel McAdams may have a thing for guys who have the ability to time travel. In 2009 she starred alongside Eric Bana in The Time Traveler’s Wife as a woman who lives a life with a husband who can’t control his ability to time jump, and now she’s getting set to play a similar role – only … Continue reading Rachel McAdams Could Join The Time-Travel Comedy About Time
