It’s a day of release dates for Ubisoft as the publisher have announced not just Far Cry 3’s coming, but Assassin’s Creed III as well. The highly-anticipated title is apparently set for release on October 30 this year.
Announced during a investor’s call, Ubisoft head Yves Guillemot said that the company is putting much more into ACIII than any game previously, and that he hopes to outdo Revelations’ 7 million in sales. In fact, the game has been in development for three years now according to the man.
“Assassin’s Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general,” said Guillemot.
That’s all for now, but Ubisoft are bound to release more information in the coming weeks, much like they did with Revelations and Brotherhood.
