Since their release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s Steam Workshop has been a huge success, according to the game’s publisher Bethesda Softworks.
The publisher took to Twitter last night, to state that there had been 13.6 million different mods downloaded since the service went live. They also signed off with the following tweet “PC mods FTW”.
There are a plethora of mods available on the PC version of Skyrim, but it’s not something that’s available on the console versions of the game. Mods are half the run though, right?
If you want to find out more about some of the best mods that are available on Skyrim at the moment, be sure to check out Colin’s guide from around when the service when public to the world.

I have also noticed that the modding community for Skyrim has become quite the independent entity. Its amazing the variety of mods you get some even improving on the textures of the game etc. Unfortunately my own Skyrim copy is on Ps3 so I cant really participate, but still an interesting phenomenon.
