Variety, which reported the new casting news, confirms that the film will also star Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Melissa Leo. Beyond Looper Dano has had a busy year, starring in movies such as Ruby Sparks, Being Flynn, and For Ellen. This summer he was cast in Steve McQueen’s Twelve Years a Slave, alongside Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Giamatti, Garret Dillahunt and Michael K. Williams. It’s being produced by New Regency, Plan B and River Road, and has already made it to post-production.
