Guardians of the Galaxy has finally arrived! This was an amazing and comical movie that delivered laughs and heart to it. James Gunn and Nicole Perlman were given this amazing and complex story. The Guardians of the Galaxy is a classic in the Marvel Universe and has a lot of depth to it because there is this team, from around the galaxy pulled together by one event and this movie pulled it off effortlessly. Gunn and Perlman presented a movie with a strong beginning that tugged at the heartstrings and propelled it forward towards a climatic ending full of hope and laughs. They were able to put in the laughs at the most appropriate moments to lighten the mood and bring the cast and characters together. All in all, it was an effortless story that was just breathtaking. Again it was funny and it was heartwarming.

As for the cast, one word: perfect. This was such a dynamic and well thought out casting. Seriously, good casting is hard work, don’t just grab people with a name and status to make a cast, no you have to have chemistry and a strong dynamic. In this movie, it’s effortless. The cast fit perfectly with one another, and considering one is a raccoon and another is a giant plant, it was just, it was perfect, there are no other words to say that. Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana were stars. They brought their lives together and had this dynamic chemistry with one another giving their scenes together the perfect fluidity of humor to seriousness while maintaining the heart between the characters and the heart of film. It was just such a wonderful, wonderful thing.

Marvel knows how to make to make movies and the writing behind each movie, the casting in this one in particular, was put together so amazingly. This movie was outstanding, perfect, and effortlessly amazing. ★★★ ½ (out of 4 ‘s | A)
