A cross-dimensional smuggler, terrifying immortal creatures, deadly political conspiracies, and a romance between predator and prey?

Well, that sounds like an excellent recipe for chaos. 😂

Today on Cyn’s Workshop, I’m reviewing Voidwalker by S. A. MacLean, the first installment in the Beasts of the Void series.

I originally picked this one up for my friend Jeff’s LFG book club, and I’ll admit that I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. The cover caught my attention, and the premise sounded interesting enough to give it a shot.

And you know what? I have absolutely no regrets.

Between its imaginative fantasy world, dangerous magic, morally complicated characters, and unconventional monster romance, Voidwalker turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable adventure.
