Weekly Reading List #91

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. So it looks like I might have to take some time off from blogging. I have all these books, 2 are ARC’s and 2 are library books all set to expire in the next few weeks. Here’s hoping I’m able to get to them all. Man or man do I need a time-turner or what. Anyway, here’s hoping I don’t need to take time off for my reading. Although, I do love reading….

Weekly Reading Post #89

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. It’s been a nice week. I had four days off from work but then I worked all weekend, which is fair, and I don’t mind working the weekends, there’s more energy on the weekends. It’s crazy sure, but time also just flies by. Been working on my business plan with my mom for “Dragin Pub House”. Can’t reveal everything about it but the title is a pun. I have quite the affinity for puns. Anyway, since it’s been pretty easy going of late (minus the bouts of insomnia) I’ve been able to catch up on my reading, editing, and writing. Love it! So check out this week’s reading list. Hope something catches your eye here, Happy reading.

Review of ‘Evil Librarian’ (Evil Librarian #1)

Evil Librarian by Michelle Knudsen

There’s something sinister with the new Librarian. Maybe it’s the horns that stick out of his head, to the leathery wings. But it’s probably the fact that he’s a demon who has Cynthia’s best friend under his spell. Now between working on the set of the schools’ production of Sweeny Todd and trying to maintain her composure around her crush and only ally, Cynthia must save her friend and her high school from the clutches of the dashing, yet evil, Mr. Gabriel.

Published September 9, 2014 by Candlewick Press Evil Librarian by Michelle Knudsen is the first in her humorous young adult paranormal series.

Weekly Reading List #69

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone is having a great week. I’m back in sunny South Florida. Brightside, with my kitties and my fiancé. Downside, I’m working today and I want to take a moment to remind everyone of something. If you’re going to the movies on Christmas please take into account that everyone working at the movie theater is away from their families, working to provide the best service that we can. But remember, we’re going to get slammed, just take that into account that we can only go as fast as possible and are serving a large number of guests. We’re doing the best we can. So please be patient and please be respectful, please remember to have the Christmas spirit and remember many of us are working long shifts with no breaks and are away from our families. As someone who had popcorn thrown on her, on Christmas, it’s not fun.

Anyway, since some breaks exits, check out my weekly reading list to help me end my long exhausting days.

Weekly Reading List #68

By Cynthia Ayala

Man oh man, I’m leaving soon. It’s wild stuff going on here. I’m going to turn in my FINAL paper soon and let me tell you, I have done nothing but stress about it because it’s my final paper, my final ever paper. Talk about crazy stuff. I’m so close to the finish line, so close to the ending of school. God I’m relieved. Sometimes I feel like going to college just put my life on hold, it did, but without the knowledge I gained I wouldn’t be able to do the things I’ve always wanted.

Honestly, the only thing that has kept me sane is the out of class reading that I did for class because I’m not one of those people who drowns in school work. I can’t be that person, it’s too stressful and then I don’t feel like I’ve done my best.

Anyway, since school is wrapping up, check out this weekly reading list right here.
