Outside the city, the green lands of hope are gone, replaced with ash and sadness. This doesn’t stop Alice and Hatcher from completing their mission: find Hatcher’s daughter. But there are perils not even known to them. The White Queen has become mad, twisted and cruel, and the land suffers under the hands of the Black King. Only one person can stop them both and save the land and children in it, bringing Alice closer to her destiny.
Summer vacation is coming to a close. I know for some that the school year has started. Mine will start in a matter of a couple of weeks. It’s my last semester at Emerson College. It’s weird thinking that it will be my last semester. I just have to pass my classes and then I’m okay. Man, it’s weird that it may be coming to end soon. My last summer vacation, it’s crazy!
Hey there avid readers, I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. You know, as busy as I was this weekend I actually managed to read two books. Woo! The South Florida SuperCon was tons of fun, but man was I exhausted when it was over. My legs hurt from all the walking, but I met a ton of people, people I’m fans of and took a bunch of pictures you’ve already seen on Instagram. I met Claudia Gray, Kevin J. Anderson, Tony Bedard, Walter Koenig and the great Henry Winkler who just so happens went to my college (Emerson College) and hugged me 4 times, including giving me a kiss on my cheek. Yeah, it was awesome. But anyway, since I read two books this weekend and I’m already halfway through another, here’s my weekly reading list for this week.
