Hey there readers! Guess who is finally a graduate of Emerson College! This girl! Boy was it cold, and wet, lots of rain in Boston this past weekend. My mom and grandmother took so many pictures of me and Dennis Lehane was my commencement speaker, which was super cool btw. Anyway, it was tons of fun I just wished my uncle, aunt and fiancé had been there with me, but I’ll see them soon enough. On the bright side on the 21-hour drive I took back home with my mom (because we were moving furniture back to FL from BOS) I got a lot of reading done. So check out this week’s reading list. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #87”

Here you have it readers. Many books were listed but only one could be the winner and the winner this month, by a landslide, is none other than Danielle Paige’s fourth novel in her Dorothy Must Die series, The End of Oz. Check out what it’s all about right here and stay tuned for a review right here on Cyn’s Workshop. You can already check out reviews of Dorothy Must Die and The Wicked Will Rise right here.
Hey there avid readers! My fiancé is leaving back to Florida in a few days. Sad panda. We’ve been having such a great time lately and tomorrow, the goal is Salem! We weren’t able to go last year because I got horribly sick but rain or shine I am going to Salem for Halloween! Anyway, I hope everyone has some wonderful plans for Halloween, don’t let the fact that it’s on a Monday bum you out. Anyway, check out this week’s reading list. Happy reading!Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #62”
Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. For me my fiancé is coming to visit next weekend for Halloween so I’m trying really hard to get as much done as humanly possible so that I don’t have to worry about school work and can somewhat relax with him. It’ll be nice J. School going great I’m working on three different projects right now, I’m editing one book, typing the second, and starting something completely different that has dragons because who doesn’t love dragons. And there is something not working in the first chapter of my novel so I’m going to finish fine tuning it for my creative writing class so that I can turn it in and figure out what isn’t working. Maybe it’s the fact that I wrote it 5 years ago and my writing style has changed, maybe it’s something in the presentation. I don’t know, that’s what class is for. So this weekend was really dedicated to that and lots of reading and writing. But anyway, check out my weekly reading list for the next week. Happy reading!Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #61”
Oz has changed since Dorothy returned. Oz is darker, a nasty place where the Good Witches are evil and the Wicked are just trying to survive and return Oz to the beautiful place it once was. Power and fame went to Dorothy’s head, and with that, her hunger for magic grew, forcing her to take it from the World of Oz itself. But now her power is truly threatened by one Amy Gumm, the other girl from Kansas who landed in Oz in a tornado and who has been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked for one purpose: to kill Dorothy.
Hey there readers, here is my weekly reading list for this upcoming week. With everything that went on in Orlando, I know many of you may have known people there and were unfortunate to know someone who passed away. I deepest condolences to all you who lost someone and my prayers are with you all. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #48”
Hey there readers! So I hope that everyone has had a wonderful week and weekend. Me, it’s been busy busy busy trying to keep up with my blogging and editing my novel but I have finally finished editing it! Woo! No I just have to format and insert my edits and changes into the computer file, because I like to hand edit, and then finish designing the back cover of the novel and everything else. No one said publishing was easy, it’s a lot of work, but work I love and that I am passionate about, so at least there’s that.
It pains me to say this, but this book was a bit of a disappointment. There is a war going on in this book and whereas I can respect the author for not wanting to focus on it the way in which it is written makes me think that the characters are going to have a big impact in the war. Granted they do have … Continue reading Out of Oz (The Wicked Years: Vol. 4)
