Batman & Superman
Good comic, I prefer the Superman story in the beginning as well as the ending story. What I liked about this comic is that it’s not earth 1. Other than that what I like is the fact that the stories split into more than one. It’s surrounds all the members, often splitting up into just Superman and then Batman. That is both unique and awesome. Three stories in one and it works.

The Black Room Part 3
Great comic. I did not see that coming. I love this team, I love that it’s a ragtag team and you know what, they work together. However the Harry Potter imagery was something I could not take seriously. But other than that it was a good solid story line that had a twist that I did not see comic. What I also like is the fact that these team members do not want to be part of a team, except for Deadman of course who wants to be a super hero. Artwork, character development, writing are all there and are top notch if you ask me. Why not just turn this into a movie rather than Justice League, it would certainly work better I think and we can see Keanu Reeves reprise his role as John Constantine. Now that would be cool.

The Others Chapter 5
AH!!! THIS IS SUCH A GREAT COMIC!! I love Aquaman and I love Geoff Johns. He is amazing and awesome and this is such a great comic. I love the style that that gone into creating and forming this Aquaman. He is tough but he’s nice and cares about others. He is awesome and amazing. But he is ready to lay down the law and if need it, where Black Manta is concerned, take it into his own hands. Gosh that’s just so cool I think. The fact that you have Aquaman being this guy who packs a punch and does it well is sort of amazing. I love that about him he’s darker than he ever used to be and that gives him the depth he used to lack before his untimely death before the Black Lanterns rose.

A Confluence of Wonders
This whole comic is amazing. I love how there were not superheroes and how the writers are going on their way of re-creating the comic heroes that we have all come to know and love. They are giving them their own solid and personal origins and are coming together as the Justice Society of America. But they are forming this team slowly, in fact, they haven’t even all met one another. Slow and steady the turtle wins right? Well that’s how I think this comic is going. It’s blowing me away and I love it that way.

The Drowning Man
Vampires vs. Zombies…Val Helsing Zombies. Yup you read that correctly. I like the way they went about this, writing it so that is wasn’t horrible because a storyline like this could either be very cheesy and bad or very well done. The Zombies are actually mummies brought to light by amulets that they wear to bring them back to life once they die. But those amulets do something more to them, something that drives the vampires mad if they bite them. That’s why this comic was good, because it wasn’t cheesy or bad or “been done” before. It was original. Also when you have a clever writer who knows what exactly it is he is doing well you can’t really go wrong there. I do wish however that the cover artist was the interior artist because Sorrentino isn’t that good, she’s dark certainly, but her artistic style sometimes distracts from the story.
