Leeteuk debuted as leader of  Super Junior back in 2005. He has been ineligible for active duty due to strain put on his herniated disk caused from both choreography and the car crash he was involved in back in 2007.  But after concentrating hard to heal his disk he was finally approved to serve.

Leeteuk also plans on leaving the shows he’s been on, SBS’s Star King and Strong Heart, after talking over his schedule with the producers before he enlists.  Many fans and press are expected to see him off before he enlists.
