When Silent Hill HD Collection and Downpour released back in March with many bugs and glitches people really understood why it was called the “Month of Madness” by Konami. Over the months Konami has been slowly releasing patches trying to fix what seems like two rushed projects. Now Konami has released a patch on the Xbox 360 version of Downpour with the PS3 patch coming in the weeks to come.

This patch features these major changes to Downpour:

-Improved frame rate
-Fixed save game system
-Fixed bugs in “Homeless” side quest/mission
-Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes

It is nice to see that Konami isn’t abandoning this game on Xbox 360 like the HD Collection and they learn to release a finished game next time. Have you been frustrated while playing Downpour or plan on picking it up for a Halloween playthrough? Let us know in the comments below.
