Weekly Reading List #92

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope everyone is having a great week. So as it stands, I’ve become quite lazy so I’ve decided to try to mix things up…and maybe put myself on some sort of normal sleep schedule which is going to be a little hard since I work nights. Not complaining, I like working nights, the energy at work may be hectic but at least it gets my blood pumping and time flies by. But I’ve decided I’m going to make a change, work out 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s, get up earlier, clean my room, have my cup of coffee, and then dedicate my morning to cleaning and reading before working out and working on my reviews and such. I’m hoping this change is going to make me more productive, energy building is supposed to do that right? I’m also hoping this is going to offer me a chance to focus on my reading and my writing, giving me more energy to do the things I love to do.

Anyway, that’s enough about me, here’s my reading list. Man, I’m so behind. See why I need more time?

Weekly Reading List #91

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. So it looks like I might have to take some time off from blogging. I have all these books, 2 are ARC’s and 2 are library books all set to expire in the next few weeks. Here’s hoping I’m able to get to them all. Man or man do I need a time-turner or what. Anyway, here’s hoping I don’t need to take time off for my reading. Although, I do love reading….

Weekly Reading List #90

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Haven’t had much time to read or edit this past week so I’ve fallen behind just a bit. But nothing to worry about, I’ll always find time to read, even if it’s only 20 pages a day. And I’ll always find some time to edit my novel. Anyway, see my weekly reading list right here. Happy reading!

Weekly Reading List #39

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers! I hope that everyone is having a great week. I’m doing good, hanging in there, less than 40 days left for school. I’m pretty happy; nothing has stressed me out yet. I have to register for classes on Monday, that means I am going to have to wake up obscenely early (yes, waking up at 6 am is obscene) and then register and then pass back out, if I can. I’m looking forward to my class selection, it’s all about me starting my FINAL semester at Emerson College, woo!

But anyway, here is my weekly reading list. As always, all synopsis are courtesy of Goodreads. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #39”

Weekly Reading List #38

By Cynthia Ayala

Hello there avid readers! I hope that everyone is having a great week. All in all, things are good. I’ve already started packing to go back home to Florida. I’m gonna need a second job this summer. I applied at Barnes and Noble and I’m really praying here to work there in the summer, Monday – Wednesday, 9 – 5. That would be perfect, absolutely perfect. I would work there, stocking books, marveling at them, taking extra good care of them, and then I could go home, spend time with my mom and my kitties before heading to my bf’s apartment because he lives closer and drives by there on his way to work. It would certainly be better than waking up obscenely early to catch the bus for an hour long ride. I’m being hopeful here, I could so use that job because I hate how low my account has gotten. Oh money. Living off campus is so expensive, but I’m being hopeful.

Anyway, it was a nice week and it went by really quick. Wow, I only have a month left in school. Insane! Anyway here is my reading list that will keep me sane. All synopsis are courtesy of Goodreads. Happy reading. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #38”

Weekly Reading List #17

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers! I hope that everyone had a wonderful week/weekend. It’s been pretty boring here in sunny Florida. Of course, here is some interesting news. My reviews have been favorited and retweeted Twitter by some authors! Isn’t that exciting! It may have only been two authors (Soman Chainani and Danielle Vega), but any sort of recognition is exciting in my book. They liked what I had to say about their novels. Then again, when I’m giving a book 4 or 5 stars, it’s hard to not like it, even if it may be poorly written. Oh God, now I’m going to be even more self-conscious about my reviews. However, if I stop now I won’t improve and sticking to it, analyzing and editing it certainly a way to make sure that I continue to improve.

So I finished the fourth novel in the Saga of Seven Suns series, Scattered Suns, and it was amazing! I’m in the middle of A Magic Dark and Bright right now and so far I like it. Can’t really complain, I did get the book for free after all via a Goodreads Giveaway. Anyway, here’s what’s on my reading list for the coming week. Happy reading folks.

But before I forget and ensue a lawsuit, all synopsis’ are provided by Goodreads.com. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #17”
