Tanya Spears, the new Power Girl, is joining the Teen Titans comics and here’s what Will Pfeifer had to say about bringing her into the Teen Titans comics.
Better late than never. Hey there avid readers! Happy Hump Day! Does that sound weird to anyone else or is just me? Well anyway, here’s part two of this weeks’ latest comic book reviews. First up is Batman and Robin #34, where Bruce finally embarks to Apokolips to save his son. Following that is Teen Titans (2014 – ) #2 where the humor continues and the team figures out where they are needed most. And finally we have Worlds’ Finest #26. Helena and Karen have finally made it back to Earth-2 and the world is less pleasant than they remember causing tension between the sister-like characters.
Continuing from Monday I bring you comic reviews! I’m starting off today with my personal favorite Teen Titans #1, a comic that was cancelled and has been given an amazing re-launch, followed by Robin Rises: Omega #1, a double sized issue by P. J. Tomasi that recaps the journey between father and son and will begin a new journey as Batman faces off against the forces of Apokolips. And rounding up these reviews is Red Hood and the Outlaws #33 that really shows a softer side to the overly sexual powerhouse Starfire.
A continuation of the latest in comic book reviews. Here is the final issue of the Teen Titans in Teen Titans Annual #3 that brings back not one, but two lost characters and ties up some, if not all, loose ends, Earth 2 #23 that pits Superman against Lois Lane, also known as Red Tornado and evaluated Tom Taylor’s writing in as he continues this dark story and finally a review of The New 52: Future’s End #1, one of DC’s new weekly series that comes off as incredibly off putting and an nonviable disappointment worth no money.
By: Cynthia Ayala DC Comics have announced two new relaunches on two of their cancelled comics. Here is a quick discussion revealing […]
Aquaman #23 Death of a King Chapter Five: Dead End That was certainly an intense issue. Aquaman and Mera are trying to escape from Xebel, Mera’s home in the Bermuda Triangle, with her people chasing them as well as the Dead King. As it was revealed in last months’ issue, the Dead King is apparently the rightful king of Atlantis and Aquamans’ ancestor usurped him and his followers, sentencing to the prison of the Bermuda Triangle. And while that is going on, […]
Teen Titans #15 Teen Scream I. LOVE. TIMOTHY DRAKE. I realize how wrong that sounds (although admit it, it’s not as disturbing as me loving Mr. J), he’s fictional, but he is awesome. And lets face it, the way Rapmund draws him makes him look so darn cute. All right, I’m gonna stop before I totally lose you. You there? Good, gad you stuck around J. This comic is amazing for two main reasons: 1. Dialogue, 2. Artwork. The dialogue just brings […]
Teen Titans #12 Armored Up & Out Ultimately, Cassie should end up with Tim. I know! I’m such a wishy-washy some times (don’t judge – I’m a chick). now that being said this is a geisha you. I really like the character development and I love kid flash. he simply an adorable character. it’s a great teen you have Kid Flash, Bunker & solstice who all balance each other out and then you have Red Robin, Superboy and Wonder Girl who equally […]
Teen Titans #11 Wonder Wonder Who This was a great comic. I liked how we finally get to see the true Wonder Girl and you know what, she is awesome. Question though why isn’t Superboy wearing his supersuit? I like that suit. Please god do not go back to the jeans and t-shirt thing, that was just lame and childish. Anyway, I love how coming to her rescue in the end of the comic were Superboy and Red Robin. I love Tim […]
