This movie made me so happy. After Into Darkness I was apprehensive about the Star Trek franchise because Into Darkness lost its way in trying to appeal to both Trekkies and the mass market. It tried too hard to be one classic (The Wrath of Khan) that it ended up being another classic (The Undiscovered Country) but with less of the heart that would have appealed to Star Trek fans because it just missed the mark, it missed the intent of Gene Roddenberry‘s work. Moreover, with this film, when I heard that they were doing reshoots after it initially wrapped up, which usually almost always spells out doom for a movie. However, you wouldn’t know it watching this film, because whatever they had to go and fix, they nailed it, and they brought back what Gene Roddenberry intended, they brought back hope, they brought back peace, and unity, and everything else that Gene Roddenberry intended when he first created Star Trek.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms He Will Be Back For Terminator 5

By:  Eric Eisenberg Arnold Schwarzenegger had a very rough weekend. The Last Stand, the movie featuring his first starring role since 2003, absolutely bombed at the box office, opening in ninth place and making only $6.2 million (to put that in perspective, it made less than both Django Unchained and Les Miserables, which are both now in their fourth week of release). The fortunate thing about Schwarzenegger’s career, however, is … Continue reading Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms He Will Be Back For Terminator 5

Highlander Reboot Loses Its Director

By: Eric Eisenberg If Juan Carlos Fresnadillo isn’t careful he’s going to wind up with a reputation of having a short attention span. In October of last year it was announced that he was moving on from the just-about-dead remake of The Crow to make a new version of Highlander. Unlike The Crow, some forward progress was made with the adventure film, signing Ryan Reynolds … Continue reading Highlander Reboot Loses Its Director

Terminator 5: What Is In Store For the Terminator Franchise

Ever since Terminator: Salvation was an apocalyptic disaster, the future of Terminator has been looking a bit bleak.  Christopher Nolan, much like with The Dark Knight Rises, ruined a good.  He took on more than he could handle, and didn’t understand the purpose of Terminators.  They see you, they kill you.  You get in their way, they kill you.  Salvation, it didn’t portray any of … Continue reading Terminator 5: What Is In Store For the Terminator Franchise

Terminator 5 Will Be Rated R

Much like the Die Hard franchise before it, the folks behind Terminator Salvation made a huge mistake when they decided to make the movie PG-13. The only one in the series that isn’t rated R, the move was made in the hopes of maximizing profits, but even that didn’t work, as it managed to pull in only $125 million domestically on a $200 million budget. … Continue reading Terminator 5 Will Be Rated R
