I tend to like Dateline, I mean, I find the stories they cover so sad but I like how they bring awareness to these crimes and I like how they show us who the police work the crime and how they show the justice.  The reason for why I am writing this article per say is because recently I saw one that was so tragic that it makes me wonder how people can be so cold and heartless.

A mother and her 10 month year old son were murdered.  The mother was beaten and then strangled to death and her son, was strangled in his crib.  A baby for heavens sake.  How heartless does someone need to be to do that!  It’s an outrage and it’ sickening.  A baby was killed and the reason why is just disgusting.  I hate him.  The mother, she was 21 years old, living alone with her best friend.  She wasn’t a bad person, she made her share of mistakes and getting pregnant by her on and off “friend” while she was in a relationship with her boyfriend.  She wasn’t sure who the father was, she thought it was her boyfriend but then she started to wonder and talked about it with her mother, her mother who was sure that her daughters on and off boyfriend was the father.  So she forced her daughter to get a paternity test.  She did, of both her boyfriend and her ex I guess we’ll call him.  Neither matched which made so sense.  That was where everything started to go down hill.

Her boyfriend broke up with her, and her on and off “friend” kept denying that he was the father.  So they took another paternity test and he failed that one too.  Her mother though, would not let it alone, she kept pushing her daughter and pushing her daughter to get the test when the daughter, didn’t even care, she felt bad enough for ruining her ex boyfriends life and hurting him the way she did that she did not want to hurt his life.  He had other plans.  He would text her, asking to meet her at her place.  When he got there though, it was not to catch up.  He beat her then strangled her and then strangled his own child.  How can people be so cold, be so heartless how can people do such horrible things, especially to an innocent baby.

Justice was served, I’m glad to say.  He got life in prison without chance of parole.

When I saw this, I just kept asking myself, how empty to you have to be, how cold and heartless do you have to be to do such a horrible thing.  It made me sick, makes me sick I should say because lately I’ve been watching the news and I just can’t anymore.  There are just some people in this world who do don’t deserve to be parents.  Empty, cold, black hearted people are high among those people.
