Sony has announced that their upcoming exclusive PlayStation Network game, Journey, will be releasing one week earlier than scheduled for users of PlayStation Plus.

The game is currently planned to release on the 13th of March in North America, with it seeing a release the day after on the European PlayStation Store. However, with the PlayStation Plus subscription, you’ll be able to download it from the 6th/7th of March.

If you buy it under that proviso, Sony are also throwing in a dynamic background for the XMB for free, something which is currently available to those who pre-order the game.

Journey is going to retail for $15 on the PlayStation Store in North America, with a similar equivalent price expected when it releases in the UK and across Europe.
