Bethesda Marketing Vice President Pete Hines recently alluded to an impending announcement regarding The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and its first downloadable expansion, and it’s supposedly coming as early as next week.
“I am working on getting a little more info out on Skyrim/DLC. Maybe next week? We’ll see,” tweeted Hines. He also makes mention at confirming the Kinect support release date.
With that bit of tease lingering around, it would seem Skyrim players have also stumbled upon a folder full of assets hinting at what may or may not be coming. Within the folder ‘DLC01’ are files for new Snow Elf characters, crossbows and vampire animations.\
Adding to the hype is Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax Media’s recent trademark ofDawnguard, which was filed last month, leading to quite a bit of discussion. Bethesda has not yet commented on the topic.
