OMG!!!!! Can I just say, informally, that this movie was so freaking awesome!!! I mean, seriously, don’t even bother with reviews, if you like action and Liam Neeson see this movie.

That being said, time to be a little more formal. Taken 2 is the sequel to Taken where Liam Neeson’s daughter was kidnapped and put in the sex trade. I don’t need to give a lot of detail because it’s all online but that piece of detail is essential because it leads into this new movie. The med that Liam Neeson killed have family that have officially vowed revenge. So this time they go after all of them, including his ex-wife who happens to be on vacation with them. Oh you know, a romantic under plot, no big deal, and it doesn’t dampen the story. Instead it gives it more substance because she gets kidnapped and the daughter is helping her father rescue their mom. Now that was a good twist.

Over all the acting on Maggie Grace’s part could have used some improvement over all, when she tried to do over dramatic scared is came off as obviously fake. I also understand, even though I don’t agree, why this movie has gotten negative reviews. The cast for the most part was dead serious but still I found myself laughing at it. I mean I loved this movie, I thought it was awesome but over all, not a lot of story or depth to it. Guys wanted revenge, that was all. 3/4 ★‘s and an “B-”.
