Happy Sunday and Happy Fourth of July to all my US readers.
Much like with April, I’m still working hard to catch up on my read which is why no new newsletters. However, I have some exciting news! First I would like to share that the gender of my new baby is a girl! My husband has always wanted a girl, and I’m pretty excited too because I have the most amazing name picked out.
My second bit of news is…I was hired at Barnes and Noble! I have been trying to get a job at Barnes and Noble for years, literally years. And I finally got in! So I’m super excited. I’ve worked there for two weeks now and I have to say I love it. I love going to work, I love that at the end of the day it does not even feel like work. Sure my feet hurt from standing all day, but you know what, I still have energy. I’m not stressed out, I’m not exhausted, I do not feel overworked. And the people there are great too. I love talking about books any way I can.
And because I have more energy I’m able to read more, I’m able to spend more time with my husband and son, and I’m generally happier.
Anyway, I wanted to share my monthly reading report with you all, courtesy of Bookly.
Okay. So here are the 8 books I read this past month:
